Could've been so beautiful, could've been so right...
This here's a knit version of the Sewaholic Belcarra blouse. I had to make a few modifications because I only had 1 metre of this lovely and soft Nani Iro double knit.
First off I shortened it by about 7cms and I had to omit the cuffs. I'm not super happy with the sleeves - they are a bit short and overall and I wouldn't sat this top is my most flattering make. It looks a little out of proportion to me.
Ah well, It is very comfortable and that's the life of a home sewer, right? Things don't always turn out how you want them to. I think this pattern has the potential to be great as a knit - I will definitely try it again some time. I have some grey jersey crying out to be let out of the stash and into the big wide world.
